What I Do...

As a mobile nutritional therapist, I will send you a detailed nutritional questionnaire to fill out, and then arrange to meet you at your home to discuss your health and lifestyle in further detail. I will make suggestions to help you make positive nutritional changes to enhance your health and provide you with a written plan to follow. As I am also a qualified fitness and aerobics instructor, I can also advise you on the right sort of fitness plan to help meet your goals, whether that is in the form of home workouts or modifying your current plan.

How does it all work?

Nutritional Therapy can help with stress, depression, insomnia, headaches, hormonal problems, hypertension, fatigue, arthritis and much, much more, or you may just be looking for a diet 'clean up'! First we have a one-to-one consultation, talking through your medical history, health concerns, current diet and lifestyle plus your goals. You will receive a tailored nutritional programme, including lifestyle advice, for the next 4 to 6 weeks.

If you wish to have a personal Fitness Programme, this will be a separate appointment. (please look under Fitness)

The Health MOT looks at your current diet and lifestyle and any major health conditions. You will have a non-invasive body fat test plus fitness tests and blood pressure check and fill in a nutritional analysis questionnaire. I will devise a custom nutrition plan for you and a fitness programme (this may be a separate appointment). A further fitness appointment follows at about 6 weeks, with your final nutritional and fitness evaluation at the end of the plan.

Healthier You! Is a plan for those wanting to shift body fat and get fitter. The first consultation is a nutrition and fitness evaluation, including a non-invasive body fat test. You will receive a custom nutrition plan, plus an exercise programme OR attendance at one of my weekly fitness classes. If you choose to have the ongoing plan you will have weekly nutrition advice alongside your class plus a monthly weigh in. When you reach your goal, the final consultation will reassess your nutrition and fitness status.

Mini Nutritional Analysis A short questionnaire designed to give an indication of your nutritional status - in particular if you are lacking in any key nutrients. Includes lifestyle advice, ideal as a precursor to the full Nutritional Therapy consultation or the Health MOT.

Did you know?... Your body has the same physiological response to emotional stress as it does to running from a grizzly bear (or any other such life threatening situation). So much for evolution!
